Reward Buy X, Gey Y gift card promotions with a bonus gift card instead of a discount voucher

You can now run a Buy X, Get Y promotion that rewards gift card purchases with a bonus gift card instead of a discount voucher. When a guest buys at least the minimum amount you set in your Toast eGift Card shop in Toast Web (Finance > Gift cards > eGift card shop), the guest receives a bonus gift card at the receipt email address used for the purchase. The bonus gift card works like any other Toast gift card.

Bonus gift card promotions run only in the Toast eGift Card shop. Gift cards sold in person on the Toast POS app don't earn a bonus gift card. Neither do gift card shops embedded in Toast Websites or branded app gift card flows.

You set up bonus gift card promotions in Toast Web (Marketing > Offers). Your location needs the Toast Gift Card Module with online eGift card sales turned on. Each bonus gift card links to the order that earned it, and you can view, resend, or void bonus gift cards in Toast Web (Marketing > Offers > Track & manage).

How to verify

Set up a bonus gift card promotion, then buy eGift cards in your Toast eGift Card shop that meet the minimum spend. A bonus gift card arrives at the receipt email address, and it appears in Toast Web (Marketing > Offers > Track & manage).
