Select multiple tickets at once on new KDS view

You can now select more than one ticket at a time on the new kitchen display system (KDS) view. Selecting a ticket puts the screen into multi-select mode, where you can add other tickets to the selection and fulfill them together instead of one at a time.

To use multi-select, set Fulfill Items to Disable individual item fulfillment under Ticket Screens in Toast Web. If you currently fulfill individual items from the item fulfillment dialog on new KDS view, check this setting first.

How to verify
Test using a location in Test Mode.

1. Access Toast Web.

2. Go to Kitchen > Printers, tickets, & KDS devices > Kitchen and ticket setup.

3. Under the Ticket Screens section, verify that Fulfill Items is set to Disable individual item fulfillment.

4. Save and publish your changes.

5. On a Toast POS device, send several orders to the kitchen.

6. On a KDS device with multiple tickets, select on ticket. The screen changes, allowing you to select multiple tickets and perform actions.
