Kitchen display system sound notifications play only for new incoming tickets

Previously, the kitchen display system (KDS) played a sound notification when you selected Recently fulfilled in All day view, even when no new tickets had arrived. The sound notification now plays only when a new ticket arrives.

How to verify

Test at a location in Test Mode.

1. Access Toast Web.

2. Go to Kitchen > Printers, tickets, & KDS devices > Kitchen and ticket setup to open the Kitchen page.

3. In the Ticket Screens section, set All Day Display to either Yes, enable All Day Display, grouped by item only or Yes, enable All Day Display, grouped by item and sub-grouped by modifiers.

4. Save and publish your changes.

5. On a new KDS device, select All day view.

6. Select Recently fulfilled. Note that a sound notification does not play.
