Sequenced prep to expediter fulfillment and expediter-only prep stations for KDS

Introducing two new changes for KDS devices: a new sequenced prep station to expediter setting, and expediter-only prep station KDS devices. Sequenced prep station to expediter fulfillment using the Sequenced KDS fulfillment setting ensures tickets cannot be fulfilled at the expediter until all assigned prep stations have fulfilled their tickets. The updated Send to setting can now set prep stations to send to items assigned to that prep station directly to expediter KDS devices.

These updates eliminate premature fulfillment from the expo screen, reduces human error, and provides stronger control for restaurants that rely on throughput metrics and performance-based bonuses.

The following image shows a message indicating that a ticket must be fulfilled at all prep stations before it can be fulfilled at an expediter station.

The new Sequenced KDS fulfillment setting is available on both new KDS (grid view) and legacy dynamic KDS. The updated Send to setting to send to expediter only is only available on new KDS (grid view).
