Charge for extra modifier portions with the new Charge As Extra? setting

You can now charge guests for extra portions of default menu item modifiers. In Toast Web, enable the Charge As Extra? setting for any pre-modifier. When the modifier is applied to a check, the Toast POS app automatically adds a charge for the additional portion.

How to verify

1. Enable Charge As Extra? for a pre-modifier in Toast Web (Menus > Pre modifiers) and publish your changes.

2. In the Toast POS app, add a menu item with a default modifier and apply the pre-modifier.

3. Confirm that the check displays the charge for the additional portion.
