Combine checks and orders that have been paid

You can now combine checks and orders with payments on them in Quick Order mode, Table Service mode, and using the payment terminal screen. The sections below further describe the experience when combining checks and orders.

Combining orders 

When you combine orders, any payments on checks being moved remain on the check they were applied to when the checks are moved to the destination order.

When you combine checks, the payments on the check being merged into the destination check are moved and applied to the destination check.

This feature is in limited release. Not all Toast restaurant locations have access to this new feature. Only Toast support can enable and disable the feature.
