Improved cash drawer experience for Toast Flex devices will affect all locations on September 23, 2025

The Cash Drawers screen on Toast Flex devices has been redesigned to reduce the number of drawer states and to streamline cash operations. 

• This change was in limited release starting with version 2.85.

• This change will affect all Toast POS locations on September 23, 2025.

This release also fixes the following bug: when a cash drawer was closed on Toast Web, the Toast POS device did not open a new cash drawer. Now, when you close a cash drawer in Toast Web, this opens a new cash drawer on the Toast POS device.
