Look up checks by scanning the receipt barcode

If your restaurant has guest receipt barcodes enabled, you can now locate current and past checks by scanning the barcode printed on the guest receipt. While on the Payment Terminal screen of a Toast POS device, scan the barcode of a receipt to open the associated check. 

To enable guest receipt barcodes, select Yes for the Print barcode on the bottom of receipts setting on the Guest receipt setup page (Payments > Checks & receipt setup > Guest receipt setup) in Toast Web.
