Maximize screen space with the new Toast Go check header

You can now see more of your guests' orders at a glance with a streamlined check header on Toast Go handhelds.

The collapsible drawer at the top of the screen has been removed to maximize your workspace in the following ways:

• Increased visibility: The check details area is now 40% taller, allowing you to see more items simultaneously without extra scrolling.

• Centralized actions: Secondary actions like Service Charge, Split, and Discount have moved to the 3-dot overflow menu in the top-right corner.

This update reduces the need to toggle drawers or scroll through long checks, helping your staff stay focused on the guest during high-volume shifts.

• First available in Toast POS version 2.103.

• This change is rolling out to all locations starting April 6, 2026.
