Menu manager supports scheduled pricing updates for franchisees

The Toast platform has two new features that allow corporate users to give franchisees the ability to make pricing edits and schedule them for publishing at a later date and time:

• Local menu access to menu manager: Restaurant employees with the 4. Restaurant Admin > 4.14 Local Menu Edit permission can now access the menu manager and make pricing updates. Other menu configuration information is read-only and cannot be edited by Local Menu Edit employees.

• Change set 'Editable by' setting: Change sets are a collection of menu configuration updates that you can schedule for publishing at a later date and time. Previously, all employees with the 6. Web Setup > 6.7 Change sets permission could edit any change set, including those created by other employees. The Editable by setting limits who can see and edit a change set, preventing franchisees from seeing and editing change sets created by other franchises.
