Opt in or out to email marketing messages during email receipt workflow

If your restaurant uses digital receipts, and the guest chooses to receive an email receipt, they can either opt in to or opt out of email marketing messages by selecting or de-selecting the checkbox for Email me news and offers from this restaurant or restaurant group.

The image below shows an example of this option.

The checkbox for Email me news and offers from this restaurant or restaurant group is selected by default for guests in the United States. For guests outside the United States, this option is deselected by default.
