Uber Eats refund adjustments for TDS now have specific fee classifications in the Toast Delivery Services billing report

Uber refund adjustments for Toast Delivery Services (TDS) now have their own fee type classifications in the Toast Delivery Services billing report (Takeout & delivery > Toast Delivery Services > Toast Delivery Services Billing).

Previously, Uber's refund adjustments for TDS were not categorized by specific fee types in the billing report. Now, any refund adjustment made in the Uber platform is tagged with a distinct fee type in the billing report, bringing more visibility into the nature of the refund adjustments.

This update is only applicable to Uber as a delivery service provider.

The new fee types are listed below.

• PROVIDER_DELIVERY_FEE_REFUND_ADJUSTMENT: An Uber refund adjustment for an order's delivery fee.

• PROVIDER_ORDER_VALUE_REFUND_ADJUSTMENT: An Uber refund for an order's value. This could be the entire order value or a partial refund, depending on the refund scenario.

• TOAST_DELIVERY_FEE_REFUND_ADJUSTMENT: A refund adjustment for an order's delivery fees from Toast.

• DRIVER_TIP_REFUND_ADJUSTMENT: A refund adjustment for an order's delivery driver tip.

Availability

This change is available to all Toast locations that are subscribed to Toast Delivery Services and use Uber as a delivery service provider.
