View and update tax information in Toast Web on the Tax Information page

You can now view and update your location's tax registration information on the new Tax Information page in Toast Web, under Toast Account > Billing. This includes your legal business name, registered address, and tax or value-added tax (VAT) identifiers.

Two new permissions control access to the page. Read Tax Information lets an employee view tax information, and Write Tax Information lets an employee edit it.

Note This change only affects non-US Toast locations.

How to verify

To verify, open a job's permissions in Toast Web and confirm that Read Tax Information and Write Tax Information appear in the Account Admin section. Assign them to a test employee and confirm that the employee can open the Tax Information page under Toast Account > Billing.
