Multi-location impact warning on menu configuration pages
Some menu configuration pages (menus, menu groups, menu items, modifiers, and modifier groups) now include a warning message to notify you when you edit items that affect multiple Toast POS locations. This warning message appears after you make a change and you click Save on a menu configuration entity targeted at a location group (more than one location).
When the warning message appears, you can continue and save your changes or cancel them. You can also dismiss the warning message so that it will not appear for you on a specific menu configuration page during the current Toast Web session. The next time you sign in to Toast Web, the warning message will appear again.
The warning message appears on classic menu configuration pages in Toast Web and does not appear on the menu manager or menu builder. The advanced properties menu configuration pages in Toast Web already have a similar warning message for changes that will affect multiple locations.
The following image shows the multiple-location impact warning message.
For more information, see product documentation about multiple-location configuration and target locations.
